History was made on Friday 30th December 2022 at the Community Primary School Etiaware when the five Communities that made up the Akedein-Owei - Etiaware, Toru- Engoware, Bulu Engoware, Tamukunu and Amatibi hosted dignitaries across the length and breath of both Delta and Bayelsa States to the Coronation ceremony of Chief, Sir Prof Wenikado Sylvester Ganagana PhD, PhD as the Akenda-owei 1, Fuun Buloda-owei 1 and Aken the 3rd of Angiama Federated Communities in the Akenden-owei Clan. Speaking at the occasion, High Chief Aladei Agua, the Chairman of the Council of Chiefs in Mein Clan and who was the Chairman of the occasion Called for togetherness of the sons and daughters of the Akenden-owei, stressing that the Akenden-owei has existed for decades.
